Anforderungen
- University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Additional qualifications in Systems Engineering or Project Management (advantageous)
- Understanding of aerospace design and manufacturing ecosystem
- Familiarity with simulation and modelling tools for industrial processes
- In-depth knowledge of specific manufacturing techniques (e.g., Additive Layer Manufacturing, Composites, Low Observability Materials, Generation of Build Processes, Configuration Control)
- Experience in technology maturation/innovation process and TRL/MRL methodology
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment
- Knowledge in MBSE and PLM tools (e.g. CATIA, 3DX) (advantageous)
- LEAN Manufacturing (advantageous)
- Ability to conceptualize and manage complex, interconnected systems
- Experience in developing and optimizing large-scale industrial architectures
- Experience managing complex projects and coordinating cross-discipline stakeholders
- Experience with agile project management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Creative approach to solving complex industrial challenges

- Ability to work in a changing, unplanned environment; make assumptions and start working on incomplete requirements

Aufgaben
- Define the industrial system technical baseline for each program phase
- Develop technology/process maturation roadmaps (TRL/MRL) during development
- Define full production architecture as the design matures
- Coordinate the overall factory/production system, including flow type and station sequence
- Define the physical/logical layout connecting all manufacturing disciplines
- Act as the central technical coordination point across Manufacturing Engineering disciplines
- Ensure manufacturing process baselines are technically compatible
- Ensure manufacturing process baselines are compatible in time and space
- Lead cross-functional industrial system reviews and trade-offs
- Validate industrial system design decisions against evolving product design
- Align product requirements, cost, schedule, and quality with program targets
- Define facility and infrastructure technical requirements for the industrial system
- Serve as technical authority for industrial milestones and decisions
- Manage industrial trade-offs, reviews, and configuration changes
- Define make-buy strategy for the manufacturing baseline
- Provide the industrial system architecture technical baseline to Industrial Management
- Adjust the industrial system design as real-world constraints emerge
- Contribute to the management of risks and opportunities within industrial activities
- Support the development and implementation of Process Methods and Tools (PMT)
- Support the development and implementation of digital systems (MES, PLM, SAP, data systems, security)
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with Airbus Standards
- Ensure tooling complies with Airbus Standards
- Ensure work instructions comply with Airbus Standards
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with airworthiness requirements
- Ensure tooling complies with airworthiness requirements
