- Extensive experience on international projects

- Strong internal and external relationship management skills
- Willingness to take on responsibility
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional, international teams
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proficiency in German
Aufgaben
- Apply strategic strength, persuasiveness, and assertiveness
- Manage sourcing activities within global Human Pharma's clinical services categories
- Assume responsibility for a worldwide category managed centrally
- Challenge the existing status quo
- Identify enhancements and convince upper management of new ways of working
- Act as global supplier manager for core service providers
- Establish and enforce a robust governance system for compliance
- Develop and strengthen relationships with external strategic partners
- Monitor the market and identify suitable suppliers
- Observe supply markets and search for new partners, service providers, and solutions
- Analyze and mitigate risks within the category
- Manage a high volume of sourcing requests independently
- Ensure successful negotiation outcomes
- Manage resulting contracts in alignment with internal business partners
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge methods
- Contribute to improvements in speed, cost efficiency, and value generation
- Contribute to the use of new technologies and optimization of buying channels
- Support the development and upskilling of sourcing colleagues through training and mentorship
